TODD H. RANSON (Licensed in Virginia 2014) received his Juris Doctor from Regent University School of Law and his undergraduate degree from The University of Richmond; majoring in English and Psychology. Mr. Ranson’s practice areas include Real Estate, comprising both Residential & Commercial transactions as well as litigation, Probate and Probate Litigation, Estate Planning, Entertainment Law, and the collection of Va. Code 65.2-714(B) fees for Worker’s Compensation Attorneys.

Mr. Ranson grew up in Va. Beach, attended Norfolk Academy, and has amassed a significant amount of “real world” experiences. Prior to law school he worked many years in the film and television industry, previously studying filmmaking and production at New York University and Virginia Commonwealth University, and renovated historic homes in Richmond.  Mr. Ranson has traveled extensively in Africa, Europe, the U.S., and Caribbean.

Mr. Ranson is a serious music lover, continues to produce a weekly radio show at the University of Richmond, is a member of the Richmond Folk Festival Programming Committee, and programs and produces two Summer Concert series. Mr. Ranson lives in Henrico with his wife, Julie, and has two children, one at Virginia Commonwealth University and J. Sargeant Reynolds.
