W. RICHARD HAIRFIELD (licensed in 1975) has been in private practice since his graduation from the T.C. Williams School of Law of the University of Richmond in 1975, where he was a member of the Law Review. Before law school, he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, also from the University of Richmond. He is a veteran of the U.S. Army and Army Reserves, and has pre-law experience in banking, finance, accounting and a variety of business fields. Mr. Hairfield handles corporate, partnership, probate, real estate, construction and other business litigation. He is a former Commissioner in Chancery for the Chesterfield, Colonial Heights, Powhatan and Richmond Circuit Courts. He is a former member of the Virginia State Bar Council and a former member of the Third District Section I Ethics Committee. A native of the Richmond area, Mr. Hairfield has two adult sons and lives in Midlothian with his wife, Riese.
