W. RICHARD HAIRFIELD(licensed in 1975) has been in private practice in Richmond since his graduation from the T. C. Williams School of Law of the University of Richmond in 1975, where he was a member of the Law Review. Before law school, he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, also from the University of Richmond. He is a veteran of the U.S. Army and Army Reserves, and has pre-law experience in banking, finance, accounting and a variety of business fields. Mr. Hairfield handles corporate, partnership, probate, real estate, construction, and other business related matters. He has extensive experience in business litigation. He is a member of the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association and serves as a Commissioner in Chancery for the Chesterfield, Powhatan and Richmond Circuit Courts. He is a former member of the Virginia State Bar Council and a former member of the Third District Section I Ethics Committee. A native of the Richmond area, Mr. Hairfield lives in Midlothian.
