JOHN J. TREXLER (licensed in Virginia 1989) received his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia in 1986 and his law degree from the T. C. Williams School of Law of the University of Richmond in 1989. Since 1989, his practice focus has been in business law as well as civil litigation especially related to collection, real estate and construction matters. He also has an extensive bankruptcy law practice representing both debtors and creditors. He also regularly assists his clients with wills and other estate planning documents. A native of Chesterfield County and graduate of Monacan High School, Mr. Trexler is an active member of Mount Pisgah Methodist Church where he is currently its Youth Steward and a member of its Church Council. He is a board member of the Walton Park Community Association and serves as referee for James River Aquatic Club swim meets in the Summer.  Mr. Trexler resides in Midlothian with his wife Darcie and their three sons Elijah, Luke, Grady.
